The Cub Fundraiser!
Join Us For A Very Special Event!
To celebrate the the 10th Anniversary of the famous Cannonsburg Cub Crawl, The PTC are hosting a series of very special events!
Cannonsburg Elementary is celebrating ten years of the Cub Crawl. The Cub Crawl is a set course to run/walk around the school that raises funds for the PTC. This event takes place during the school year.
In years past, family members have been able to join their students for the Cub Crawl during the school day. This year, the Cub Crawl will be limited to students, faculty and volunteers. For that reason, we've created a Kick Off event for families to get together outside of the school day and celebrate our Cannonsburg Cub community.
For the Cub Crawl, students will collect pledges from friends & family to support fun & educational programs at the school. These activities include, but are not limited to, field trips, assemblies, teacher grants, the supply closet, popcorn days, the Carnival, Donuts with a Buddy, Pancakes with Santa, Battle of the Books, and Mileage Club. We cannot do it all without your help.
Last school year’s spring Cub Crawl was a great success due in part to the help of our sponsors! We used a virtual platform, FundHub, for the first time and discovered it to be a great tool that we will continue to use this year. The virtual platform allowed our students to reach more friends and family to raise funds easily and safely.
Event Sponsors help us put on this fun-filled event so that each child can have a Cub Crawl t-shirt, a light snack at school, raffle prizes for each class, and prizes for our top earning classes and individuals. All remaining funds go directly to the PTC budget for the events listed above.
Cub Climb Community Family Event!
September 30 from 5:00 -7:00 pm
Cannonsburg Ski hill
Who: Cannonsburg Elementary Families and friends!
What: Let’s climb to the top of the QUAD and get to know some families here at Cannonsburg.
Where: Cannonsburg Ski hill
When: September 30 from 5:00 -7:00 pm.
It’s a drop-in event; come when you can!
Why: The online platform we use to raise money, Fundhub, will go live on 9/30, and let’s celebrate and reconnect!
More: Group races will start at 5:30, 5:45, 6:00, and 6:15. You can run any time, but the EMCEE will announce runners at those start times!
*Students will have the chance to race to the top, completing small challenges to win stickers. They can then attach them to their free water bottle they’ll get back at the bottom of the hill. Siblings will have the option to run too! (Water bottles, for non-students, may be purchased for $2)
*Adults will have the chance to race to the top as well! The fastest adult wins a door prize!
Door prizes are from Cowlicks, Battle GR, and Rockford Footwear Depot.
*Group picture on the hill will be at 6:45
**Chick Fil A will provide a food truck that will have entrees, sides, desserts, and drink options for purchase. The food truck accepts cash, credit, or Apple Pay is accepted. (See flyer for menu)

*Students will have the chance to tally laps around a designated course at the school, stopping at games along the way
*Classroom incentives will be awarded along with raffle prizes after the crawl
